DESCRIPTION:Why a clothes swap?\nIf clearing out your old wardrobe, exploring your style or just fancy something new clothes swaps are great for each other and the environment.\nHow it works\nBring your old clothes, shoes, accessories and unopened toiletries. For each item you bring you’ll get a token to swap it for another item. If you don’t have anything to swap, don’t worry! You can make a financial donation to The Hive instead.\nMore than just a Clothes Swap\nWe have asked for some specialists to join us. We hope to have a stylist, hairdresser, make-up artist and bra fitter on site to help with finding your new clothes. Keep your eyes peeled on social media for updates.\nThere will be a financial planner from True Self Wealth Ltd, a specialist in LGBTQ+ Financial Planning, who is happy to answer any questions you might have about money.\nOutBritain is the UK’s first LGBT Chamber of Commerce. They’ll be there to chat about whether you’re setting up a business or want to connect your business with others.\nThe Venue\nIf you have any questions about accessibility please contact The Hive directly.\nA few extra details\nAllies are welcome so bring your partners, friends and family.\nWe have pop-up changing rooms, and mirrors for trying things on.\nThe event is run by the Trans Support Hub with sponsorship from True Self Wealth Ltd and OutBritain.\nThis is a free event, The Hive have let us have use of their venue for free. The Trans Support Hub thanks them from the bottom of our hearts for that! We will be collecting cash donations for The Hive so that they can carry on their work supporting the LGBTQ+ community.\nWe can’t wait to see you all there!\n
